One of the trend changes over recent years is the appreciation of roller and sunscreen blinds, it has become a significant part of what Auckland Drape (& Blind) Company offer.
Roller blinds, either blackout, light-filtering or sunscreen, are a fantastic option when changing your window furnishings. They leave a much cleaner line than the traditional net curtain fitted inside the window frame, being very practical and minimalistic at the same time looking great from both the inside and the outside.
With the “revolution” of the roller blind, fabric suppliers have produced a fabulous range of fabrics and colours to accommodate the style and decor of all homes and offices leaving us spoilt for choice.
But there is one thing better than a standard chain operated roller blind and that is a motorised roller blind. Not having to get out of bed on a Saturday morning to open the blinds is bliss, just hit the button on the remote and up go the blinds to allow just enough light or so you can see just enough of the view.
Now you have the option of rechargeable blind motors, hardwired motors or if you have a power-point close to the window we can run a lead to this, but a consultant can come and visit your home or office and let you know what the requirements are for each option and show you the range of fabrics.
The multi-channel remote control can be programmed to operate one blind at a time and to raise or lower them all at once. The motors are concealed inside the tube, so the only thing seen is the wire.
